Lake district.

Just got back from a few days in the lake district. Greeted by snow and wind when we arrived and it was freezing. Wednesday was sunny but windy and cold. Drove from ambleside to keswick and then back and around coniston. Thursday we drove to windermere and walked round there. Then down to frodsham and visited Leon and Victoria

What we're doing

We're volunteering at Amano Christian School which is just outside Chingola in Zambia. The pupils at the school are a mix of nationalities the majority being Zambians. At least 10% of the pupils at the school are orphans and so are fully sponsored with other pupils requiring partial sponsorship. Because of this our positions are voluntary and so we need to raise money to cover our living costs.

Giving

If you feel able to contribute then firstly thanks very much. There are a few ways that you can do this, you can send money to echoes, just make sure you tell them its for us! If you have a look on their website it explains stuff clearly, you can send a one off donation through paypal, set up a regular payment or send a cheque! The advantage of paying through echoes is that it can be gift aided (as long as your a uk tax payer) so, the government will add 25% to your gift, which is nice of them!

Prayer

If your a person who prays then we'd really value your prayers for our safety and that we'd be able to overcome challenges that come our way. We'll try to keep you updated with specific requests for prayer on here and on our news/prayerletters.
